Senior Power Platform Developer
We're looking to connect with a UK-based Power Apps expert with proven, demonstrable experience across Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Pages, alongside strong Dataverse expertise. This role will play a key part in designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, supporting digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.
Role Summary
As a Power Apps Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality applications, ensuring best practices in governance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate).
Design and implement Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Dataverse data models.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
Build and manage custom connectors, APIs, and integrations with external systems (via REST APIs, Azure services, etc.).
Extend platform capabilities using JavaScript, Power Fx, and C# (Plugins / Custom APIs) where required.
Implement ALM best practices using Azure DevOps / Git (solution management, pipelines, environments).
Ensure solutions meet standards for security, performance, scalability, and governance.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. Dynamics 365, Azure services).
Stay up to date with Power Platform roadmap, features, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas)
- Power Pages
- Power Automate
- Dataverse (data modelling, security, performance)
Proven experience delivering enterprise-level Power Platform solutions.
Hands-on experience with:
- JavaScript (client-side scripting)
- C# / .NET (plugins, custom APIs)
- REST APIs / integrations
Experience with Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of:
- Solution architecture & design principles
- ALM & DevOps practices (Azure DevOps / Git)
- Security & governance in Power Platform
Experience working within Agile environments, with the ability to deliver using different ways of working simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Dynamics 365 (CE).
Exposure to Power Platform CoE / governance frameworks.
Knowledge of Power BI and data integration patterns.
Relevant Microsoft Certifications.
